Every morning, a loyal listener will take a chance and give the Ranch Cash Cow a squeeze to see how many dollars they might win.
Depending on their courage, it could be anywhere from $50….to $5,000. However, there is always a chance that the cow could leave the contestant with nothing. And that’s the fun for players and listeners alike. How far will they go?

Prizing, Rules & Regulations
By entering the contest, you agree with our base contest rules & regulations.
1). No purchase necessary. This contest is open to all residents of Alberta who are eighteen (18) years of age or older on the day of play.
2) Contestants are chosen at random, either by way of daily phone-in at 403-327-0981 at specified times to call, or by entry on the 98-1 The Ranch Facebook page for “Facebook Friday” posts. Winners are NOT chosen by any preference or discrimination by 98-1 The Ranch, its employees, sponsors or affiliated companies.
3). Vista Radio, its affiliated companies, their advertising agencies and any family members are not eligible to enter or win.
4). Gameplay: – The host will give the contestant an opportunity to play “The Ranch Cash Cow” – an all-or-nothing style game based on the contestant’s choice of action throughout gameplay.
– Upon being presented with an initial cash prize, the contestant will have the option of keeping that dollar amount and be subsequently rewarded as such (Canadian dollars), OR they will forfeit that amount and accept the outcome of the next play, which could result in another dollar amount or a complete loss.
– Contestants are responsible for their own decisions and agree upon playing that they are acting of their own will, despite opinions or suggestions from others, including listeners who text into the radio station during their play, or any other outside parties.
– Contestants will be advised to and be responsible for adhering to all codes of conduct put in place by the CRTC and CBSC when applicable to language and messaging. Failure to comply with broadcast standards, including the use of profanity, ideology peddling, political influence, advertising, or other inappropriate conduct, will be the responsibility of the contestant and may result in additional legal action from Vista Radio and 98-1 The Ranch. Such conduct will also result in the immediate cancellation of the game
